Vicki Choi is an Associate at Perun Consultants.
Vicki has over three and a half years of experience in restructuring and auditing. She began her career at a top five accounting firm in Singapore, where she gained valuable expertise in restructuring and forensics, with a particular focus on private trustee in bankruptcy services. Prior to joining Perun, Vicki worked at a CPA accounting firm in Hong Kong, where she specialised in providing auditing services to listed companies and entities incorporated in Hong Kong, the PRC, British Virgin Islands and other international jurisdictions, across various sectors. Her role involved ensuring the accuracy of financial statement reports and compliance with accounting principles (GAAP) and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
Representative engagements
In charge of 200 bankruptcy cases, conducted meetings with clients, repayment scheme proposals, asset liquidation, and sales of assets including real estate (property), motor vehicles, insurance policies, clubhouse memberships and other intangible assets.
Involved in the sales proceeds and distribution for six jointly owned properties located in Marina Bay and Sentosa and assisted in adjudicating over 46 unsecured creditors claims against a trading company in Singapore.
Assisted one of the Singapore Blue-Chip Companies listed on the Singapore Exchange in preparing their annual report and financial statement for their multinational corporation which owned over 150 subsidiary operations across Mainland China, the Asia Pacific Region, the Americas, Europe, and Africa. Provided auditing services compliant with GAAP and IFRS for their logistics, engineering, commodities, and financial services operations.
Project lead and conducted site visits, engaged with clients regarding liquidation and auditing matters at their overseas offices.
