Representative engagements

  • Series of investigations to identify circumstances of bankruptcy, including signs of deliberate bankruptcy of credit organisations, as well as grounds to bring claims against responsible persons controlling the organisation.

  • Forensic investigation of a major real estate developer, which revealed large-scale asset missapropriation schemes by entering into fictitious transactions with contractors and withdrawing funds to offshore jurisdictions. The investigation resulted in criminal prosecution of management involved in the fraudulent actions.

  • Series of projects investigating construction companies, including analysis of estimates, executive and working documentation, verification of the scope of work performed, analysis of the cost of purchased materials, works and services relative to the market level. The results of the procedures revealed overestimation of the cost of construction works, and purchases at prices exceeding the market average.

  • Forensic accounting investigation into financial and economic activities (specifically procurement and production processes) of a major lifting equipment manufacturer which resulted in a management restructuring.

  • Forensic investigation of key business processes (including overhead costs, commercial costs, logistics, production) of a company engaged in manufacturing heavy construction equipment, resulting in the reorganisation of the company.

  • Forensic investigation into the production activities of a plywood company, revealing significant accounting discrepancies and disruptions to the company's internal business processes caused by employee misconduct and systematic inefficiencies.

  • Detailed calculation of financial results and performance indicators for the projects of a large steel construction plant, resulting in further business restructuring.

  • Forensic financial and operational integrity review of two CIS oil fields, identifying optimisation opportunities for staffing and management structures.

  • Compliance audit of subcontractor compensation calculations and payments thereto for an oil company during COVID-related downtime.

  • An audit of advertising and marketing costs of a major mass entertainment company. The investigation revealed significant violations of procedures established by internal regulations, manipulation of the procurement process, and overpriced purchases.

  • Media audit of the costs of an advertising deal for a large international pharmaceutical company.

  • Forensic investigation into a TV company, including checking for conflicts of interest, affiliation, significant economic dependence of the parties, feasibility and justification of transactions, non-commercial or doubtful transactions.

  • Preparation of expert witness report and calculation of losses caused by fraudulent schemes of management of a large car manufacturing plant.

  • Calculation of transaction damages faced by an energy company, including lost profits caused by unfair performance of the parties during a business transaction, contract termination, imposition of regulatory restrictions, and sanctions, among others.

  • Assessment of Delay in Start-Up (DSU) and Business Interruption (BI) damages resulting from a fire, for the purposes of negotiations with an insurance company.

  • Analysis of a petrochemicals company’s financial position, including analysis of the dynamics and structure of financial statements, analysis of liquidity, solvency, financial independence and stability indicators.

  • Comprehensive analysis of procurement activities of 12 oil sector companies. The detailed analysis of procurement, contractual, primary, and payment documentation on the procurement of goods and services revealed numerous risks of manipulation, as well as risks of limiting competition, violation of internal regulations of the company, and other risks.

  • Business valuation of an independent entertainment project, in particular, selection of optimal business parameters (location, product, pricing policy, etc) in order to maximise the financial result, formation of cash flow forecasts for the company, and preparation of a financial model.
